The Misson of Imam Alkisai Institute of America Quranic Education is institution dedicated to sharing the treasures of the Quran with humanity. Weekday Intensive Qur’an Memorization Program With Home Schooling

Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 8:00AM to 3:00PM.  In this course students memorize The Holy Quran along with Tafseer, Hadith, Aqidah, Dua’a, Fiqh ,Seerah, the Whole of Tuhfatl Adfaal (Tajweed Poems) and Arabic 101 and 102.  In daily live sessions, you will receive lesson directly from the instructors, recite back to him/her and have your mistakes corrected.  You will leave each lesson with the correction of some outstanding mistakes, allowing you to practice and memorize the lesson on your own, and then reciting it correctly to the teacher in the following lesson. This program is perfect for students that are and Sisters.  The program consists of the following four phases:

​Phase 1
The focus of the first step is on learning to read and write Arabic.   Upon completion of this course students will be able to read the Quran and write in Arabic proficiently. 
 
Phase 2
The students will focus on improving the overall flow of their recitation.  At the end of this level the students will be able to recite the Quran with excellence. 
 
Phase 3
The focus of step three is on learning advanced principals of recitation, and on memorizing the Quran.   By the end of step three students will have memorized the entire Quran. 
 
Phase 4
The focus of step four is on helping students earn their certification (i.e., Ijazah).   An Ijazah (i.e., الإِجازَة) is a document certifying that one has completed a course of study in one or more specific aspects of the Quran and Sunnah.  An Ijazah can only be awarded by a qualified Sheikha or Sheikh, who received his or her knowledge through with a successive chain of narrators that go back to the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be on him.  It is also certifies the recipient to teach others.
 
This program is designed for students who are interested in memorizing the entire Quran and mastering its recitation with the proper rules of Tajweed.
 
Admission Requirements

 

  • Ability to read the Quran fluently as evidenced by the applicants performance on a placement test
  • Interview
  • Ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Tajweed as evidenced by the applicants performance on a placement test

Additional Information​

  • Candidates are accepted into the Ijazaa program on a rolling basis.
  • Each student will be assigned to a certified Ijazaa instructor for 2 hours per week.
  • Students must practice memorization independently before each session with the instructor.
  • Students must read the entire Quran (Al-Fatiha to An-Nas) with the same instructor.
  • Students must complete the Ijazaa program in person.
  • Students must pass a final Ijazaa exam.
  • After completion of the first Ijazaa, interested students may apply to continue in the other Qiraat.


Weekend Quran Memorization Program
Saturday - Sunday | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
This program is designed for students that attend Public Schools and/or work. In this course, our students will memorize the Holy Quran along with Tafseer, Hadith, Aqidah, Dua'a, and Fiqh.
